Yamilet “Yamie”

Originally from Las Vegas, Yamilet, “Yamie,” has been a hairstylist for 12+ years. Since moving to NYC in 2019, she splits her time haircutting and styling at SALON and styling and designing hair backstage on film/tv and broadway/theater productions.

Yamie treats everyone who comes through the SALON door like a good friend. She gets to know clients and their hair, listening and collaborating to achieve their hair goals. She is solution oriented, figuring out how to make it all work, and can work with all hair types. She’s also an expert with wigs, elaborate braids and iconic blowouts. Clients feel at home, have fun hanging out, and leave their appointment loving their hair and feeling refreshed. Find her at SALON on weekends and upon request.
